The Offaly Branch of the Dyslexia Association of Ireland is delighted to announce that for the second year running we have been awarded an ESB Community Fund grant. This €250.00 grant will support a new workshop programme designed for secondary school children. As anticipated at the beginning, the group must grow with our members. The new Secondary [...] It is with absolute delight that the Offaly Dyslexia Group can reveal that our fund-raising efforts continue to be successful. Only last Friday we received the news that we have been selected to receive a grant of €1,000 from the Community Foundation For Ireland. The grant, which was applied for under the Small Grants Scheme was presented [...] Yesterday evening saw the culmination of the six week trial workshops held by the Offaly Dyslexia Group at Daingean National School. Thanks to our tutor’s and the efforts of the Offaly Dyslexia Group these workshops were held on a trial basis over a six week period. We like to refer to it as a ‘getting to know [...] At 5pm on Monday 27th April 2009 members of the Offaly Dyslexia Group group opened the doors of Daingean National School to welcome the parents and children participating in the Dyslexia Association of Ireland workshops.
